Vivid Vision Eye Care was established in 2021. This is when Dr. Paige began caring for the Ravenna community and Dr. Sawyer started shortly after in 2022. We have built many wonderful relationships with our patients during this time. We are eager to continue building upon those relations as well as building new ones over many years of eye care for Ravenna and the surrounding communities. It is our hope that you will be part of our journey!
Dr. Sawyer was born in Warren, Ohio. He earned his Doctor of Optometry Degree in 2020 from The Ohio State University College of Optometry. While there he gained admittance into Gold Key, an honor for academics and leadership, reserved for ten percent of the graduating class. He gained clinical experience on rotations at the Tucson, Arizona VA Hospital and OSU Outpatient Clinic in Upper Arlington, Ohio. Dr. Sawyer provides a full range of optometric services, including comprehensive eye exams for adults and children, soft contact lens fittings, hard contact lens fittings (Scleral and GP lenses), and the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases.
Dr. Paige received her Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University in 2016 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from The Ohio State University College of Optometry in 2020. In her final year of optometry school, she rotated through the Eye Specialists of Ohio and the Columbus VA Optometry Clinic. She is clinically trained to diagnose and manage many ocular conditions which include cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic eye disease.
Drs. Paige and Sawyer are active members of both the American Optometry Association as well as the Ohio Optometric Association. Additionally, they are active members of Vision Source, a network of independent optometrists that regularly collaborate on practices that lead to superior patient experiences while in an optometric office.
Drs. Paige and Sawyer met in optometry school in 2016. A year after graduation they acquired Vivid Vision Eye Care, formerly owned and operated as Moats & Martin Eye Care. At this same time, they added a golden retriever who they named Topper to their family. Then came a big year in 2023, which included moving into their first home and getting married. They decided their small family wasn't yet complete, and welcomed their second golden retriever, Fergus, into the mix in 2024. During their free time, they enjoy being outdoors, traveling, checking out new restaurants, reading, and competitive board game nights with friends. Although it would be a stretch to call their Catan games “competitive” anymore given Dr. Paige’s win streak.
